Natalie "Talie" Pittman has always been an illustrator and creator at heart. Bringing creatures, characters, and worlds to life is an endlessly fascinating challenge and animation allows the ability to do that like no other medium. Falling in love with animation led Talie to pursue a M.S. at Texas A&M's Vis Lab. Falling in love with teaching during graduate school led her to change to the new M.F.A degree, making her one of the first two people to graduate from Texas A&M with a M.F.A.
Following the years as faculty on record teaching drawing fundamentals and studio courses in graduate school, Talie spent 8 years at Wharton County Junior College heading their Digital Media degree as well as teaching Simulation and Game Design. Later she moved on to lecture at the University of Houston for a year before coming to Arkansas State University.
Talie considers herself a multi-media artist and works with both traditional and modern mediums from 2D & 3D animation, digital illustration, gouache, oils, clay and resin, and more. Art allows endless ways to tell a visual story, and Talie enjoys exploring as many as possible.
