Biography

Dr. Hashim Ali received his Bachelor of Science (with Honors) degree in Chemistry from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) University in 2000 and a PhD from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Iowa in 2005. Dr. Ali then joined the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Iowa in 2005 as a postdoctoral research scholar. In 2006, he had the opportunity to continue his postdoctoral research at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland Washington before joining the Chemistry and Physics Department at Arkansas State University in 2009.
