Biography
"I started out my career by earning a B.A. in Criminology and Sociology. After working several years in Mental Health alongside nurses, I discovered that nursing is my calling. In 2012, I graduated from Arkansas Northeastern College with an Associates in Applied Science in Nursing (AASN). I worked as an ICU/Cardiovascular Nurse at a Jonesboro hospital soon after, and in late 2013, earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Arkansas State University. In 2016, I completed coursework at Walden University for my Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. I began working with Arkansas State University School of Nursing as an adjunct clinical instructor in 2017, and soon after, in Fall of 2017, accepted an Assistant Professor of Nursing position. I completed my PhD in Nursing Science in May 2024 from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences."
