Biography
Dr. Baltz’s nursing education began with the completion of her BSN in 2001 from ASU. She worked in many areas of nursing including ICU in preparation for obtaining her degree in anesthesia. Dr. Baltz was accepted into the first class of ASU CRNA students in 2003. Upon completion of her CRNA, MSN degree she began her career at St. Bernard’s in Jonesboro and also taught part-time at ASU for a short period. In 2007 Dr. Baltz took a position at a small rural hospital in Pocahontas as the full-time solo CRNA, which continued until 2016. At that time, she joined Jonesboro Surgery Center where she stayed until 2021. Throughout her career, Dr. Baltz has had the opportunity to work in several different areas of anesthesia and places while covering vacation and other needs throughout areas of Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. In 2021 Dr. Baltz started working part-time for OPSC of Mountain Home where she continues to work. After completing her DNP at ASU in 2022, Dr. Baltz started working part-time in 2023 as online faculty for the Anesthesia program.
