Biography

Mrs. Roslyn Brown’s has been nursing since 2001. She worked her way up from being a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and to a Registered Nurse (RN). Her nursing education began when she became a nursing preceptor and mentor at her place of employment. Training the newly licensed nurses and being a resource for experienced nursing sparked a fire to educate. Mrs. Brown has over 20 years of clinical experience. She joined A-State in 2021 as an adjunct faculty. She came on as full-time faculty in Fall 2022. Mrs. Brown wears many hats, but her favorite is being a wife and mother of 3 wonderful children. She is an active member of her church and a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, INC. Mrs. Brown’s ultimate collegiate goal is to pursue her doctoral degree. She currently teaches in the associate degree program at the West Memphis campus.
