Biography
Mrs. Kortan's nursing education began with a completion of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) in 2016 form Arkansas State University. After graduation she worked in critical care and specialized in cardiac patients. She decided to go back to school for her Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) with and emphasis in Family Practice. When she graduated in 2020 she was presented with the opportunity to teach at Arkansas State. Mrs. Kortan's started teaching in the fall of 2020. Currently, she teaches in the BSN program and the accelerated BSN program.
