Biography
I am an experienced leader, manager, and educator with over 30 years of nursing experience. Currently serving as Assistant Professor, School of Nursing at Arkansas State University. I served as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital, Jonesboro, Arkansas for several years as I transitioned back to Arkansas. I served as Nursing Director of Critical Care, at Doctors Community Medical Center, Lanham, Maryland for about two years after retiring from the military. 28 years of my nursing career was acquired serving Active Duty in the Army Nurse Corps. I’ve served in traditional nurse executive leadership positions in critical care, CNO, Service/Department Chief, with a wide variety of other skill sets to include, Veteran Affairs Liaison, Telehealth, Inspector General, Healthcare Recruiting, In-Outpatient care settings along with training, education, and security.
